Usage & Application

Perform venipuncture using a compatible BD Vacutainer holder/needle assembly. Allow the tube to fill until the vacuum is exhausted at the indicated draw line. Immediately after collection, gently invert the tube 8–10 times to mix blood with the lithium heparin anticoagulant — do not shake. Centrifuge per laboratory protocol to separate plasma. Discard tubes in approved sharps/biohazard containers after analysis.
