Each barrier ships with a ready-to-wear wafer that eliminates the need for at-home cutting while still delivering a snug, dependable peristomal seal.

The barrier features Hollister’s signature floating flange, allowing users to attach a New Image pouch by gently pressing fingers underneath the flange instead of into the abdomen. This is especially helpful on tender post-operative abdomens, recently-formed stomas, or sensitive peristomal areas, supporting comfortable pouch changes without unnecessary pressure on the body.

Standard-wear FlexWear hydrocolloid construction is designed to protect the skin from corrosive output across the day while maintaining flexibility and comfort against the abdomen. The integrated tape border around the flat barrier helps secure the wafer perimeter and reduce edge lifting, supporting a more dependable seal during daily activity.
