The McKesson Skin Closure Strip in 1/4 x 1-1/2 inch (6 mm x 38 mm) format is a sterile, single-use flexible strip designed for closing small cuts, abrasions, and post-procedure incisions where suture or staple use isn’t the right fit. The compact size suits delicate areas — finger and hand lacerations, pediatric wound care, and small post-removal sites — with a soft tan color that blends discreetly against most skin tones.

Made from flexible nonwoven polyamide material, the strip conforms to body contours without lifting at the edges, supporting comfortable wear during normal patient movement. The skin-friendly adhesive is designed to hold securely while still allowing controlled removal that minimizes trauma at the wound site.

The strip features a unique porous construction that allows the underlying skin to ventilate during healing. This breathability helps prevent maceration of the surrounding tissue — a meaningful clinical benefit when strips are worn over multiple days as part of a closure plan.

Each strip is supplied sterile, intended for single use, and is not made with natural rubber latex, supporting use in latex-sensitive environments. The compact format helps reduce material waste compared to larger strips when small wounds are all that’s needed. Sold in 6-strip packs.

Returns Due to Change of Heart: Changed your mind? No worries! You have 30 days to return the unused product in its original packaging. You'll cover the return shipping, and once we get it back, we'll refund the product price, minus the shipping cost.
