The Vliwasorb Super Absorbent Dressing is designed for the management of heavily exuding wounds by providing high fluid absorption and reliable moisture control. Manufactured by Lohmann & Rauscher, this sterile super absorbent wound dressing utilizes advanced absorbent materials to help manage excess wound exudate while supporting a cleaner and more controlled wound environment. Its borderless square design allows flexible application across a variety of wound care settings.

This dressing contains superabsorbent polymers capable of absorbing many times their own weight in fluid while helping retain exudate even under mechanical pressure. The absorbent structure is intended to minimize leakage and help reduce the risk of wound edge maceration caused by prolonged moisture exposure. Its fluid-handling performance supports use in wounds with moderate to heavy exudate levels.

The dressing features a polyurethane backing that acts as a fluid barrier to help provide additional wound protection during use. The borderless construction allows compatibility with secondary fixation methods and supports use beneath compression bandages when required for venous leg wound management or other advanced wound care applications.

Constructed from a combination of polyethylene, polypropylene, cellulose, and sodium polyacrylate materials, the dressing is designed to provide dependable absorbency while maintaining dressing integrity during wear.
