The McKesson Premium Charged Microscope Slide is a 25 x 75 x 1 mm chemically pure white glass slide engineered for histology and cytology workflows where positively charged surfaces are required to support reliable cell and tissue adhesion. The slide includes a white frosted end for clear specimen labeling, helping speed downstream identification at the bench or stainer.

The defining feature is the charged surface, which provides an ideal substrate for cell and tissue adhesion during cutting, mounting, and staining. The charge helps thin sections stay attached to the slide through aggressive water-based protocols and antigen retrieval steps that can wash unmodified slides clean.

Each slide is produced from finest-quality chemically pure white glass formulated for minimal oxidation, which protects sample integrity during long-term storage. This becomes important for archival cases and for labs that retain slides for retrospective review or QA audits.

The slide features ground edges and 90° corners, which makes it well suited for use in automatic cover slip machines that require consistent slide geometry. The frosted labeling end is color-coded on one end, one side, supporting orientation-aware processing. Not made with natural rubber latex.
