The Olympus channel cleaning brush is a single-use disposable endoscope reprocessing brush engineered to deliver consistent mechanical cleaning of endoscope working channels between cases. Compatible with channels in the 2 to 3.2 mm range, the brush is the right tool for many of the bronchoscopy, GI, and ENT endoscopes Olympus deploys clinically.

What separates the Olympus brush from generic alternatives is the bristle geometry: thick, stiff bristles make better contact with the inside surface of the channel even when the scope is wound up for storage or transport, and all bristles touch and bend equally so the entire inner channel surface is cleaned uniformly on each pass.

A protective plastic tip at the distal end shields the inside of the channel from the wire that supports the bristles — preventing the kind of channel scoring that gradually destroys an expensive endoscope over many reprocessing cycles. The 37-2/5" length supports cleaning of long-channel scopes used in colonoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and similar procedures.

Single-use, disposable design eliminates the cleaning, drying, and reprocessing labor associated with reusable brushes, and removes the cross-contamination risk that occurs when reusable brushes are imperfectly cleaned. A clinical-grade essential for any endoscopy reprocessing department.
