Product Description

The i-STAT Level 1 control is a quality-control reagent kit used to validate that an Abbott i-STAT point-of-care analyzer reads patient cartridges within manufacturer-specified ranges at the normal end of the clinical range. Each kit contains 10 individual 1.7 mL aqueous control vials.

The 10-vial pack is a meaningful supply for routine QC programs daily checks across multiple operators or shifts, plus QC documentation after new cartridge lots, after instrument maintenance, or whenever a result needs verification. Aqueous formulation keeps storage and handling straightforward.

Use as part of a structured QC program. Pair with i-STAT Level 2 (high-range) and Level 3 controls per facility QC protocol for full clinical-range validation across blood gas, electrolyte, coagulation, and cardiac marker tests. Storage requirement: refrigerated.

Trusted by cath labs, ICUs, OR teams, ED, and outpatient anticoagulation programs running i-STAT analyzers. Ships with McKesson acceptable dating of at least 60 days, intended exclusively for use with Abbott i-STAT Point-of-Care Analyzers.
