When a stoma sits flat against the abdomen or pulls slightly inward, a flat skin barrier struggles to seal cleanly — output finds its way under the wafer and wear time disappears. The Sur-Fit Natura convex insert is the simple fix: it snaps into the flange of a 1-1/2" Sur-Fit Natura Durahesive or Stomahesive two-piece wafer and adds gentle, even convexity around the stoma.

The convex shape pushes the surrounding skin downward in a uniform ring, so the stoma sits more proud in the opening and effluent is directed up into the pouch instead of leaking sideways. Because the insert is a separate component, you keep using the same wafers, pouches, and routine you already trust — only the seal performance improves.

This 1" diameter insert is for stomas sized accordingly within a 1-1/2" Sur-Fit Natura Durahesive or Stomahesive two-piece system. Snap the insert into the flange ring before applying the wafer to the skin; it stays in place for the life of the wafer. No special tools, no learning curve.

Recommended by ostomy nurses and WOCNs for users with flat, retracted, or slightly hernia-affected stomas, the convex insert often turns leaky one-day wear into reliable three- to four-day wear, restoring confidence and saving on supply waste. If you don't report the damage upon delivery, unfortunately, we won't be able to organize return shipping, and you'll be responsible for all the associated costs.

Returns Due to Change of Heart: Changed your mind? No worries! You have 30 days to return the unused product in its original packaging. You'll cover the return shipping, and once we get it back, we'll refund the product price, minus the shipping cost.
