Product Overview

The BSN Medical Cover-Roll Stretch Dressing Retention Tape is a 2 inch wide by 10 yard roll designed to secure dressings, devices, tubing, and probes against the patient’s skin. The stretchable nonwoven polyester construction adapts well to body contours and joint movement, helping the tape stay in place during normal daily activity without restricting motion.

The fabric provides light compression across the dressing area without causing constriction, which can be particularly useful when securing dressings over joints or limbs that swell during the wear period. The stretch behavior also helps reduce the risk of skin tears that can occur with inelastic tapes during patient movement.

Each roll uses a polyacrylate adhesive that holds dressings safely and reliably in place while still allowing for clean removal at scheduled changes. The tape is also radio-transparent, making it suitable for use on patients who may need imaging without the tape interfering with X-rays or fluoroscopy.
