Product Overview

The Globe® Scientific 15 mL Centrifuge Tube is a clear polystyrene laboratory tube with a conical bottom and an open-top design supplied without a closure. The tube is sized at 16.6 by 120 mm and is well-suited for routine sample handling, low-speed centrifugation, and short-term sample storage in clinical and research laboratories.

The tube is graduated from 0.5 to 15 mL in 0.5 mL increments, providing visual volume confirmation directly on the tube wall during pipetting and dispensing. The graduations support reproducible measurements for assays, dilutions, supernatant transfers, and aliquoting.

Constructed from optically clear polystyrene with a conical bottom, the tube allows clean visualization of pellets and helps concentrate small precipitates after centrifugation. The conical geometry simplifies pellet recovery from low-volume samples without losing material.

Each tube is rated for 1,500 RPM, making it appropriate for routine, low-speed protocols such as cell concentration, basic urine sediment processing, and low-g separations. Tubes ship plain (without additive) and non-sterile in a convenient dispenser box for easy bench-top access. Closures are sold separately when sealed storage is required.

If you don't report the damage upon delivery, unfortunately, we won't be able to organize return shipping, and you'll be responsible for all the associated costs.

Returns Due to Change of Heart: Changed your mind? No worries! You have 30 days to return the unused product in its original packaging. You'll cover the return shipping, and once we get it back, we'll refund the product price, minus the shipping cost.

Refund Process: After we check and approve your returned product, we'll send you an email. Expect the refund to your original payment method within a week.
