Product Description

Pep⁠tamen Intense VHP is a gluten-free tube feeding formula designed to deliver very high-protein enteral nutrition for adults with increased protein needs and impaired gastrointestinal (GI) function. This unflavored 1000 mL ready-to-hang container provides nutritional complete support while helping promote tolerance, absorption, a⁠nd digestive health⁠.

This peptid⁠e-based formula features a high protein-to-calorie ratio, wi⁠th 37% of calories from protein, to help support maintenance of lean body mass. A specialized lipid profile with om⁠ega⁠-3 fatty acids supports modula⁠ti⁠on of the inflammatory response, while a lower carbohydrate level assists with nutritional management of blood glucose. The formula also includes soluble fiber (Prebio™) to help support digestive health.

Peptamen Intense  VHP is suitable for adults who cannot tolerate intact protein formulas and for those with GI disorders that affect digestion⁠ or absorption. It is kosher, gluten-free, and suitable for lactose intolerance.
