Usage & Application

Use only with previously placed implanted vascular access ports. Following aseptic technique, prepare the skin over the port, prime the tubing with sterile saline, and insert the right-angle Huber needle perpendicular to the port septum until the back of the port is felt. Secure with a transparent dressing and verify patency. Discard after the manufacturer-recommended dwell time or when removed; replace per facility protocol.
