Chattanooga Hydrocollator terry covers are made for Hydrocollator moist heat HotPacs. A hot pack cover insulates the heat while protecting patients from excessive heat exposure during therapy sessions, and the hook and loop closure keeps the cover securely in place around the pack. The covers are washable and reusable. Choose a standard or oversize all-terry cover, an oversize foam-filled cover, or a neck contour cover.

Using a Hydrocollator Cover

Match the hydrocollator cover to the size of your HotPac: standard covers for standard packs, oversize covers for oversize packs and the neck contour cover for neck packs. Remove the hot pack from the heating unit, let excess water drip off, place it in the cover and close the hook and loop. Check the patient's skin often during treatment and add towel layers if needed, as directed by the therapist. Wash and dry covers between uses so a fresh cover is always ready.
