Usage & Application

Choose the appropriate insert color for your facility's color-coding policy and slide it into the clear write-on window. Use a permanent ballpoint or fine-tip marker to print the patient's name, ID number, and any other required intake information on the insert. Wrap the band around the patient's wrist with the insert facing outward, pull the strap through the closure to a comfortable fit, and press the permanent snap firmly until it locks. Verify the insert is fully readable and the band is secure but not constrictive before completing admission.
