Product Description

Peripheral edema, chronic venous insufficiency, and lymphedema disrupt circulation and cause persistent swelling that limits mobility and comfort. The Powerpress Lymphedema Compression Garment delivers graduated pneumatic compression therapy to manage edema, promote venous return, and reduce the risk of deep vein thrombosis in clinical, post-operative, and home care settings.

Key Features

  • Graduated compression promotes blood circulation and stimulates lymphatic fluid movement to reduce swelling in legs and arms
  • Manages edema associated with chronic venous insufficiency, lymphedema, soft tissue injuries, burns, and ligament sprains
  • Post-operative edema control helps minimize deep vein thrombosis risk during recovery periods
  • Available in half-leg, full-leg, and arm configurations with single or double chamber options for targeted therapy
  • Pneumatic massage action activates metabolism and supports tissue resilience in affected limbs
  • Fits mid-calf, knee, thigh, and upper arm areas with size-specific circumference ranges

FAQs

Q: Which HCPCS code should I use for insurance billing?

A: Half-leg large uses E0666, full-leg and XL half-leg use E0660, and arm garments use E0655. Verify coverage with your insurance provider before ordering.

Q: Can I use this garment without a pneumatic pump system?

A: No, this garment requires connection to a compatible pneumatic compression pump to deliver therapeutic pressure. The sleeve alone provides no compression benefit.

Q: How do I choose between single and double chamber configurations?

A: Double chambers provide sequential compression from distal to proximal limb areas for enhanced lymphatic drainage. Single chambers deliver uniform compression across the covered area. Consult your physician or therapist.

Q: What's the difference between half-leg and full-leg options?

A: Half-leg garments extend from foot to knee (20" rear length). Full-leg versions reach from foot to upper thigh (30" rear length) for above-knee edema management.

Q: How long should each compression therapy session last?

A: Session duration and frequency depend on your treatment plan. Most protocols range from 30 to 60 minutes per session, but follow your healthcare provider's specific instructions.
