MetriCide OPA Plus is a ready-to-use high-level disinfectant intended for reprocessing heat-sensitive semi-critical medical devices when sterilization is not suitable, when used according to the instructions for use. It is a glutaraldehyde-free solution with ortho-phthalaldehyde as the active ingredient. The solution may be used for manual disinfection or in an automated endoscope reprocessor (AER).

MetriCide OPA Plus Solution Test Strips are used to monitor concentration when used with MetriCide OPA Plus. The minimum recommended concentration (MRC) is 0.3%.
