Product Overview

The Health Care Logistics numbered padlock seal is a tamper-evident plastic security seal designed to lock and identify medication carts, code carts, narcotic boxes, secure storage drawers, and any container where chain-of-custody verification matters. Each red 1-1/2 x 1-7/8 inch seal carries a unique sequential number visible at a glance.

A unique hinge design causes a spring-back motion if the seal is not properly applied, so staff get immediate feedback when the seal hasn't fully engaged. Average breaking strength is 8 lbs enough to deter routine tampering while allowing intentional removal without specialized tools. No tools are needed to break the seal during legitimate access.

The polypropylene construction is autoclavable up to 325°F (163°C), which means the seals can travel with surgical instrument trays and other items that go through steam sterilization without melting in the chamber. Numbered sequentially for accurate logging in pharmacy, anesthesia, EMS, and central-supply chain-of-custody documentation.

Used widely in hospital pharmacies, ED code carts, anesthesia drug trays, hazmat shipments, and any setting that requires after-the-fact verification that a sealed container has not been opened. Each pack contains 100 seals.
