The Halyard Ankle Guard Shoe Cover is an X-Large, ankle-high disposable cover engineered for low- to moderate-fluid environments such as routine OR support, sterile-processing, lab work, and hospital/clinic facility services. Each cover is constructed from a breathable, fluid-repellent 3-layer SMS fabric in blue, providing protection without sacrificing comfort during long shifts on the floor.

The cover features elastic closure at the ankle, which keeps the cover securely in place during walking, bending, and squatting and prevents debris or fluid from migrating between the shoe and the cover. The ankle-high cut helps protect both the shoe and the lower portion of the leg from spatter and contamination during routine clinical activity.

Integrated nonskid adhesive traction strips on the sole improve grip on smooth or wet floors, supporting safer movement around the OR, sterile-processing department, surgical gowning area, and patient-care floors. The added traction also helps reduce the risk of slips when transporting equipment or patients.

The 3-layer SMS construction is breathable enough for extended wear while still repelling fluids that might otherwise reach the wearer’s shoes or socks. Each cover is supplied non-sterile and disposable for single-use protection that aligns with hospital infection-prevention protocols.
