Product Overview

The Steri-Strip™ skin closure strip from Solventum (formerly 3M) is a 1/2 x 4 inch sterile, non-woven adhesive strip designed to support primary or secondary wound closure with less trauma than traditional sutures or staples. Sized for medium-length lacerations and surgical incisions, this tan strip is engineered to blend discreetly with most skin tones while delivering reliable hold throughout the healing window.

The strip is built around a porous non-woven backing coated with a pressure-sensitive, hypoallergenic adhesive. Porosity allows the wound bed to breathe, helping reduce maceration and supporting normal moisture exchange across the closure line. The flexible strip conforms gently to body contours, which is important for closures over joints, faces, and other curved or mobile areas.

Compared to staples or sutures, Steri-Strip closures are associated with reduced scarring, lower infection risk, and improved patient comfort during recovery. They can be used to close low-tension wounds directly, to provide additional support after suture or staple removal, and as part of staged closures in pediatric and adult care.

Each pack contains 6 strips, supplied sterile and not made with natural rubber latex. They are well-suited to emergency departments, urgent care centers, surgical clinics, and home wound care kits where a clean, low-trauma closure option is required.

Items Damaged During Shipping: If your product shows up damaged, make sure to note it when you get it and don't accept it, especially for big items. We'll only accept returns for defective products, and in those cases, we'll cover the return shipping. If you don't report the damage upon delivery, unfortunately, we won't be able to organize return shipping, and you'll be responsible for all the associated costs.

Returns Due to Change of Heart: Changed your mind? No worries! You have 30 days to return the unused product in its original packaging. You'll cover the return shipping, and once we get it back, we'll refund the product price, minus the shipping cost.

Refund Process: After we check and approve your returned product, we'll send you an email. Expect the refund to your original payment method within a week. Keep in mind that depending on your bank or card provider, it might take a bit longer for the refund to show up.
