How to Use a Rocker Balance Board

Place the board on a flat floor next to a wall or sturdy chair. Stand with both feet on the board, facing the direction it rocks, and slowly tip it forward and back while keeping your trunk upright. Then try to hold the board level for 20 to 30 seconds. To work side to side, turn your feet 90 degrees on the board. As your control improves, use less hand support or try a mini squat.
