Product Overview

The Shiley™ Tracheostomy Tube Holder is a one-piece foam-padded cotton holder designed to keep tracheostomy tubes secured at the patient’s neck during ventilation, transport, and routine handling. The white band fits one size that adjusts to most patients from pediatric to adult with neck size up to 18 inches.

Construction uses latex-free foam-padded cotton, providing a soft, comfortable contact surface against the skin. The padding helps reduce friction and pressure-point irritation during longer wear, important for patients on long-term ventilation or post-operative tracheostomy management.

The Velcro hook closures attach easily to the tracheostomy tube neck flange, supporting fast application by a single staff member. The wide band tapers at the hooks to reduce excess secretion accumulation at the closure point — a meaningful infection-control detail when secretions naturally migrate along the neck band.

Each holder is a single-patient-use item, supporting infection-control protocols by removing the need to reprocess between patients. HCPCS code A7526.
