Product Overview

The Curad® Xeroform™ Petrolatum-Impregnated Dressing is a 4 x 4 inch sterile petrolatum-and-bismuth-tribromophenate impregnated fine mesh gauze designed for non-adherent coverage of donor sites, abrasions, partial-thickness burns, lacerations, and surgical wounds. The petrolatum carrier helps maintain a moist healing environment while resisting adherence to the wound bed.

The bismuth tribromophenate component provides mild deodorizing properties and has historic use as a clinical antiseptic surface treatment. Combined with petrolatum, the dressing supports wound moisture balance and atraumatic removal during dressing changes, helping reduce mechanical disruption of newly forming granulation tissue.

Common indications include split-thickness skin graft donor sites, second-degree burns, abrasions, lacerations, and surgical wounds where a non-adherent primary contact layer is required under a secondary absorbent dressing. The 4 x 4 inch square format is well-sized for single-site coverage with minimal trimming.

Each dressing is supplied sterile and individually packaged in a convenient clinical box presentation suitable for burn units, post-op recovery, wound clinics, dermatology, and home-health programs. The Curad Xeroform line offers an established, widely-recognized non-adherent contact layer for routine wound care protocols.

We'll only accept returns for defective products, and in those cases, we'll cover the return shipping. If you don't report the damage upon delivery, unfortunately, we won't be able to organize return shipping, and you'll be responsible for all the associated costs.

Returns Due to Change of Heart: Changed your mind? No worries! You have 30 days to return the unused product in its original packaging. You'll cover the return shipping, and once we get it back, we'll refund the product price, minus the shipping cost.

Refund Process: After we check and approve your returned product, we'll send you an email. Expect the refund to your original payment method within a week. Keep in mind that depending on your bank or card provider, it might take a bit longer for the refund to show up.
