The AO Stabilizer is a lace-up ankle stabilizer brace with figure 8 straps. Its advanced design provides the compression and comfort of a soft ankle brace with 20% to 35% more protection than traditional stirrups. The lightweight, low profile brace is made of a highly breathable, quick drying fabric. A top strap adds stabilization around the shin, speed laces allow a quick lace-up, and the figure 8 strapping gives extra stability. One brace fits either the left or right foot.

Wearing a Figure 8 Ankle Brace

A figure 8 ankle brace works best when it is laced and strapped in order. Loosen the laces, slide your foot into the brace with a sock on, and pull the speed laces snug. Wrap the figure 8 straps around the ankle and fasten them, then close the top strap around the shin. The brace should feel firm but not tight, and your toes should stay warm and comfortable.
